Facts Sheet

What do you get when you take true, cool-climate Chardonnay fruit from vineyards in Monterey’s Arroyo Seco, cold-ferment it in stainless steel without oak aging and secondary malolactic fermentation, and bottle it in brilliantly clear glass with a striking white label and resealable closure? Introducing Paperwhite by J. Lohr!

The inspiration for the name came from the wine itself. As winemaker Kristen Barnhisel tells us, “it is a pure expression of cool-climate Chardonnay, with delicate aromas of paperwhite blossom and vibrant citrus zest, leading to a fresh, crisp palate.”

Paperwhite offers Chardonnay fans a lighter, elegant, fruit-forward style that is equally at home enjoying with friends or partnering with a wide range of cuisines. And. of course. it’s Certified California Sustainable. You’d expect nothing less from the Lohr family and their fifty-plus years’ experience growing world-class Chardonnay.
