    The 2017 competition was recently completed and J. Lohr won more than its fair share of top honors, with four almost perfect scores!

    The Cal­i­for­nia State Fair Com­mer­cial Wine Com­pe­ti­tion is among the world’s largest, with thou­sands of entries from around the globe. The judges’ list for this con­test is a Who’s Who” ros­ter of top- ight wine­mak­ers, wine writ­ers, and restau­ra­teurs. Win­ning cov­et­ed Gold Medals and 90 Point scores at this pres­ti­gious judg­ing is a feath­er in the cap for any winery.

    The 2017 com­pe­ti­tion was recent­ly com­plet­ed and J. Lohr won more than its fair share of top hon­ors, with four almost per­fect scores! J. Lohr received four Dou­ble Gold Medals” and 98 Points” acco­lades for the 2013 Sig­na­ture Caber­net, 2013 Cuvee POM, 2013 Cuvee St. E, and 2015 Flume Cross­ing Sauvi­gnon Blanc. The 2014 J. Lohr Carol’s Vine­yard Caber­net Sauvi­gnon took Gold and received a 95 Point” rat­ing. Con­grats to Jeff, Kris­ten, Steve, and the entire vine­yards and pro­duc­tion teams for this incred­i­ble showing!
