The 2017 competition was recently completed and J. Lohr won more than its fair share of top honors, with four almost perfect scores!
The California State Fair Commercial Wine Competition is among the world’s largest, with thousands of entries from around the globe. The judges’ list for this contest is a “Who’s Who” roster of top- ight winemakers, wine writers, and restaurateurs. Winning coveted Gold Medals and 90 Point scores at this prestigious judging is a feather in the cap for any winery.
The 2017 competition was recently completed and J. Lohr won more than its fair share of top honors, with four almost perfect scores! J. Lohr received four “Double Gold Medals” and “98 Points” accolades for the 2013 Signature Cabernet, 2013 Cuvee POM, 2013 Cuvee St. E, and 2015 Flume Crossing Sauvignon Blanc. The 2014 J. Lohr Carol’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon took Gold and received a “95 Point” rating. Congrats to Jeff, Kristen, Steve, and the entire vineyards and production teams for this incredible showing!
