J. Lohr a Sponsor for S.F. Press Club’s Annual Journalism Awards
SAN FRANCISCO – Nov. 3, 2025 – The San Francisco Press Club announced today that J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, one of California’s most respected family-owned wineries, has joined as a breakthrough-level sponsor for the organization’s 48th Annual Greater Bay Area Journalism Awards.
The awards gala will take place on December 9 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in downtown San Francisco. More than 300 journalists, media professionals, and industry leaders will attend to celebrate excellence in Bay Area journalism. The evening begins with cocktails at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m.

The awards honor winners from the Press Club’s annual journalism contest, which has received 910 entries, surpassing last year’s total of 798. Guests will enjoy a three-course gourmet dinner enhanced by the stunning city views from the historic Julia Morgan Ballroom.
