Elevate your Independence Day celebration this year with a DIY Wine Glass Tea Light. This simple project can be completed in less than an hour and can be easily replicated for each table setting.
Materials Needed
1-3 Wine Glasses
1- 3 Tea Light Candles
4 Cups of White Rice
4 oz of Blue and Red Paint
(2) One Gallon Sealable Plastic Bags
Disposable Large Tray
Large Spoon
Step #1
- Fill two large one-gallon sealable plastic bags with equal parts of white rice. Add a palm-sized amount of paint for about two cups of rice to each bag. Shake and mix the bag thoroughly.
Step #2
- Layout the rice on a large tray for about an hour or until fully dried.
Step #3
- Layer equal parts red, white, and blue rice. Finish off with a tea light candle on top.
Fire up the grill, pour a nice glass of J. Lohr Estates Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon and enjoy!
