J. Lohr proudly offers two Wine Clubs; the J. Lohr Wine Club and the J. Lohr Vineyards Select Wine Club. Both focus on quality and education, similar to the attention given to our vineyards and exceptional winemaking. Members join a select group of wine enthusiasts who enjoy and appreciate quality wines, and experience hands-on events in the vineyards and J. Lohr Wine Centers.

J. Lohr Wine Club Advantages

• No fee for sign-up.
• Selections include J. Lohr Vineyard Series, J. Lohr Estates and Cypress Vineyards wines.
• Quarterly shipments of six bottles (6) per shipment.
• $85-$120 for both California and out of state shipments. (Includes tax & shipping. For list, see our shipping policy).
• All wines included in shipments are discounted 25%.
• Invitations to wine club member only events.
• Members receive a quarterly newsletter featuring wine notes, recipes, new release information, an event calendar, plus a monthly postcard.
• Monthly e-mails regarding events, new releases, and wine club shipment information.

• Descriptor seminar tasting

  Discounts:
  • 30% discount on all shipment wines the
    first 30 days following each quarterly shipment.
  • Additional orders: 25% discount on all
    J. Lohr Vineyard Series, J. Lohr Estates, Cypress Vineyards, Painter Bridge and ARIEL wines purchased at the
    J. Lohr Paso Robles Wine Center and the

  • 25% discount on J. Lohr apparel and wine accessories.
• Pick up: Members have the option of picking up two (2) bottles per month, rather than receiving quarterly shipments, in order to avoid shipping and handling fees. These wines can be picked up at either the San Jose or Paso Robles J. Lohr Wine Center. To sign-up for this service, enter either J. J. Lohr's Vineyards Select Wine Club offers a collection of wines that are characteristic to our diversity of flavors, frequently exclusive to our Wine Centers, and often difficult to find in the marketplace. The selected wines offer members an opportunity to taste unique wines representative of J. Lohr's awareness of quality, consistent and progressive winemaking.

• No fee for sign-up.
• Selections include J. Lohr Estates (no Valdiguié or White Riesling), J. Lohr Vineyard Series,
  J. Lohr Cuvée Series, and J. Lohr library wines.
• 4 bottles shipped twice a year (May & October).
• Cost will never exceed $160 per shipment for California and Out of State; including wine, shipping, handling, and taxes if applicable. (For list, see our shipping policy).
• All wines included in shipments are discounted 25%.
• Invitations to Vineyards Select wine club only events.
• E-mails regarding events, new releases, and wine club shipment information.
• Club membership is limited to 250 members.
• Discounts:
  • 30% discount on all shipment wines the first 30 days following each quarterly shipment.
  • 25% discount on ALL wine and merchandise including Cuvée Series wines.
• Wine information enclosed with each shipment.
• Pick up: Members have the option of picking up their Vineyards Select shipments at either our J. Lohr San Jose Wine Center or J. Lohr Paso Robles Wine Center.

Wine Club Only Events

Exclusive Grape-to-Glass Tours
Members are invited to enjoy a personal
tour of the Paso Robles vineyards and
winery conducted by the Wine Club Director. Includes barrel wine tasting, tasting of
current release wines, and a complimentary
logo glass. Reservations are required and
tours are conducted during weekdays only.

Club members may enjoy a complimentary VIP tasting in our barrel room with select and limited wines served.

This year our bus travels once again to Carmel Valley! The first stop will be at Talbott Winery where we’ll have an opportunity to taste their famous Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. You’ll also have a chance to walk around the village and experience tasting at the other local tasting rooms on your own. We’ll then travel to a spectacular setting at Galante Vineyards where owner and winemaker Jack Galante will spoil us with barrel tastings, some Galante favorites and barbecue lunch! We’ll end the day back up in our J. Lohr San Jose wine center for some light appetizers. Look for your bus trip invitation soon for more details!

Bus Trip 2007

Our trip this year includes Red Soles Winery where owner Randy Phillips will greet us with barrel tastings, some Red Soles favorites along with cheeses and barbecued sausages! We’ll then travel to Tablas Creek Vineyard (includes lunch), Jack Creek Cellars and Clautiere Vineyard. We’ll end up back at our wine center for some fabulous J. Lohr wine and appetizers.
